Meet Dr. Pol Miranda

Dr. Pol Miranda

Dr. Miranda has been studying and working with the body for over 20 years. He has received certifications in massage therapy (CMT), Neuromuscular Trigger Point Therapy and Thai Yoga Massage. He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the Los Angeles Chiropractic College at Southern California University of Health Sciences in 2011.

In December of 2016, Dr. Miranda acquired the practice of Dr. Roger Graziano, DC. After 38 years of serving the local community with low-force chiropractic care, he had decided to retire and found a wonderful protege in Dr. Miranda. Under Dr. Graziano's tutelage, Dr. Miranda has learned the subtlties and intricacies of low-force chiropractic techniques and has combined advanced bodywork techniques to make for a unique corrective system.

He continues to expand his knowledge and skills in chiropractic bodywork with further training in Active Release Technique (ART). ART is a patented, state of the art soft tissue muscle technique. ART has given him a unique understanding of the biomechanics and anatomy of the human body which he uses to form a tailored treatment plan to suit each patient's individual needs.

Dr. Miranda has a simple philosophy - the body's adaptive abilities form the basis of health. "The body will have positive responses to healthy choices such as regular exercise, a good diet and stress relief. On the other hand, unhealthy stressors such as a sedentary lifestyle, consistently bad posture and unhealthy eating habits will inevitably compromise health. The state of health in the human body is in constant flux and we have the ability to control it." - Dr. P. Miranda

Outside the office, Dr. Miranda likes to balance his time actively and artistically. He is an avid outdoorsman, dedicated surfer and surfboard shaper, practices yoga and meditation and loves to write music with his wife Ronnie.
